End of service for PlayStation®2 and Xbox 360® versions of FINAL FANTASY XI

The service for PlayStation®2 and Xbox 360® versions of FINAL FANTASY XI will come to an end on Thursday 31 March 2016. Your subscription will continue to be automatically renewed even after this date, so you can continue to enjoy the Windows® version of FINAL FANTASY XI. However, if you wish to cancel your account, please do so from the Square Enix Account Management website . 

You can download the Windows® version of FINAL FANTASY XI from here. Following installation you will be able to log in using the same Square Enix Account, PlayOnline ID and PlayOnline password you have been using before. As this involves changing platforms, please be advised that you will not be able to use your configuration files (macros and markers) used on your PlayStation®2 and/or Xbox 360® on Windows® unless you save them to the server. Please read this FAQ for more details.

Please note that even if you carry out the necessary linking processes to use the Forums or Security Tokens, you will still be required to transfer your Square Enix Account. Please visit this page to transfer your PlayOnline ID to Square Enix Account if you have not done so already.
