FINAL FANTASY® XI Test Server Agreement

Square Enix, Ltd. (“Square Enix”, “Company”, “us” or “we”) is proud to offer a test server (“Test Server”) for FINAL FANTASY® XI (“FINAL FANTASY XI”), in order to give users the opportunity to see new updates before their official release and provide feedback to the development team.

The Test Server is part of FINAL FANTASY XI, and as such, your use of the Test Server is subject to the FINAL FANTASY XI User Agreement and the FINAL FANTASY XI / PLAYONLINE VIEWER Software License Agreement, which are hereby incorporated by reference. In addition, by downloading or installing the Test Server Client, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

1. Purpose

The purpose of the Test Server is twofold: (1) To give you a sneak-peek at potential upcoming features; and (2) For us to collect user feedback to help us evaluate and fine-tune these features before they’re incorporated into FINAL FANTASY XI. The Test Server will be a place for our development team to experiment, so not everything previewed there will ultimately be incorporated into FINAL FANTASY XI. Please provide your feedback accordingly. Our goal is to make FINAL FANTASY XI as fun as possible for you.

2. How It Works

To use the Test Server, you must first download and install the Test Server Client. You can use your characters from the regular FINAL FANTASY XI on the Test Server, but any items, experience points, or progress are limited only to the Test Server, and will not transfer to the regular game.

3. Availability

The Test Server is available to all registered users of FINAL FANTASY XI, but is only available via Windows PC. You can use the Test Server via your Windows PC, but not via your console, even if you typically play on a console.

4. No Guaranteed Access

Please note that the Test Server has a limited capacity, so we cannot guarantee you access at all times. Further, we cannot guarantee that it will work on your computer. The Test Server may be withdrawn at any time without notice.
