How do I convert my Trial account to a full FINAL FANTASY® XI account?

Once your trial is over (or at any time during the trial), you can purchase and download the full version of the game from our digital distribution partners:
FFXI-STEAM /FFXI-METABOLI

The “FINAL FANTASY®XI Ultimate Collection Abyssea Edition” includes all the game’s content released to date at an unbeatable price – that’s all 4 expansions, 3 add-on scenarios and 3 battle area add-ons in addition to the full game! Prepare for hundreds of hours of epic playing!

Important
The installation procedure will differ depending on the retailer you purchased the game from.
Please refer to the instructions below for more details:

If you purchased the game from Metaboli:
You do not need to uninstall the trial version. After downloading the game, simply launch the setup and install the remaining elements (expansion packs) from the main menu.

If you purchased the game from Steam:
You will need to uninstall the trial version first as Steam uses its own client to install the game. Go to “Control Panel”, “Programs”, “Uninstall a Program” and remove any FINAL FANTASY® XI-related content as well as the PlayOnline viewer from the drop-down list before proceeding with the Steam installation.

Upon completing the installation, simply log in to your Square Enix account, select “Select service” and then choose FINAL FANTASY® XI. Under “Active service accounts”, click on “Transfer to regular service” and enter the registration code provided with your purchase.

You can now launch PlayOnline and enjoy thrilling adventures in Vana’diel!
