As part of the transfer process, basic fees have now been set at £8.99/€12.95 per 30-days. Fees for additional characters, expansion data, and additional scenarios will not change. You are not required to settle payments when you start using Final Fantasy XI for the first time and will able to play until the 30 day subscription ends. You can also freely configure whether to extend your subscription automatically or terminate it within the 30 days.

Note:
If you have added characters during the 30 day subscription, a pro rata rate will apply from when your subscription started until the day it ends.
