This issue happens when the magnifier tool in Windows is set on higher than its default setting (100%).
To solve the issue, you can set the magnifier back to its default level of 100% by following these instructions:
- Right click on an empty space, anywhere on the desktop
- Select "Personalise" from the popup menu
- From the window that opens, select "Display" from the left hand side
- Once the magnifier options open, set the level to default (100%) and click "Apply"
- Reboot your computer
