In order to switch from a Security Token (key ring type) to a Software Authenticator, you must first remove your Security Token, then register the Software Authenticator.

To remove your Security Token:

1. Log into the Square Enix Account Management System using your Square Enix ID and password.
2. Go to "Services and Options" and select "One-Time Password".
3. Select "Adjust Security Token (key ring type) Settings", choose Security Token Removal and follow the steps for removing the Security Token.
