How do I change my registered information?

Use this article to update information you registered in your Square Enix Account.

If you can't complete the process, see Get help with lost details.

What you can change yourself

You can update the following directly in the Square Enix Account Management System:

  • Email address
  • Password
  • Home address
  • Security question and answer
Update your information (self-service)
  1. Log in to the Square Enix Account Management System.

    ■ You can sign in using your Square Enix ID or your registered email address.

    Important: Your registered email address must match your original registration exactly, including letter case. If unsure, copy and paste the address from a Square Enix Account Management System email you received in the past.

  2. Hover over the Account menu at the top of the page, select Account Information.

    ■ For account security, from this point, you may be asked to confirm details already registered on your account.

  3. Select Update Account Information.
  4. Select the item you want to change and follow the on-screen prompts.

Square Enix ID

You can use your registered email address to sign into the below websites. When signed in, your Square Enix ID is displayed in the menu bar.

Security Token / Software Authenticator

If you have your Emergency Removal Password, you can remove your Software Authenticator at any time here.

Email Address

Name or Date of Birth

Policy for changing name or date of birth
  • For security reasons, you cannot change your name or date of birth yourself.
  • We will review changes if your registered details were entered incorrectly, or if they have legally changed (e.g., marriage, adoption, gender change).

Important

  • You must provide proof of identity before we review your request.
  • We cannot change the account holder to a different person, even if they are a family member.
  • Requests must be submitted by the account holder.
  • If your name has changed, please also provide official documentation of the name change.

  • Passport
  • Driver's license
  • ID card
  • Birth certificate
