When trying to start a co-op game I am asked to insert an Xbox 360 controller, why?
Kane & Lynch: Dead Men is a Microsoft 'Games for Windows Live!' game and as part of this it uses the Microsoft Xbox 360 controllers exclusively and does not support any other game controllers.
The reason why you must insert at least 1 Xbox 360 controller is because of the controls that the game utilises. It would be impossible to achieve both players on one keyboard and mouse therefore one player would play on the keyboard and mouse and the other player on the Xbox 360 controller. Alternatively, you can plug in 2 Xbox 360 controllers and both play with these rather than the keyboard and mouse.
