How do I register for a new Square Enix account?
Please select “Register for a Square Enix Account” on the Square Enix Account Management System website and follow the on-screen instructions.
If you receive an email stating that “this address has already been used to register an account”, then there’s a chance that you already have a Square Enix account. Select “Forgot your ID or password?” on the Square Enix Account Management System website and follow the on-screen instructions to retrieve your account. You can also click this link to retrieve your account.
An automated email that includes the following information will be sent to the email address registered to your Square Enix account. Please reset your password following the instructions contained within the email.
- Square Enix ID
- Confirmation Code
Once you have reset your password, please log into the Square Enix Account Management System and select Account Information under Accounts in the upper left of the menu to review your registered information.
If you haven’t received the automated temporary registration email, please try the following:
- Incoming emails may be congested. Please check again later to see whether the email has arrived.
- The automated email may be inside your junk folder. Please check there to see whether the email has arrived.
- Emails from @account.square-enix.com may be disallowed. Please review your email spam filters to ensure that emails sent from @account.square-enix.com domain are allowed.
- The same email address may have been used for registration within a 24 hour period. If you are registering an account using the same email address, please wait at least 24 hours before trying again. If you wish to register again using a different email address, you can do so immediately.
- Email addresses on the Square Enix Account Management system are case-sensitive. Please be sure to enter the email address using the same capitalisation that you used when creating your account.
If none of the above resolves your issue, you may have entered your email address incorrectly. Please check the email address carefully before trying to register again by selecting select “Register for a Square Enix Account” on the Square Enix Account Management System website.
