Third party assistance of players in FINAL FANTASY XI is not prohibited as a general rule. However, GMs may choose to take action if the 3rd party activity is adversely affecting the ability of others to play and enjoy the game.

In addition, GMs may also take action against parties advertising "power levelling” (raising a character's level for payment) or any other behaviour that could be considered illegal or disruptive.
