A tag is a useful tool for searching threads with similar titles or subjects. Your normal searches using certain words, phrases, or user names will be greatly enhanced with the combined usage of the two.

It is basically a keyword used to separate threads. By adding words and phrases that describe the thread subject, it will become much easier to search for similar threads. Tags added to a thread are displayed in a box at the bottom of the thread page. If you click on a tag, you will be able to view threads with that tag added to it or other related threads.

Tags can be added or removed not only by the person who created the thread but by other users as well.
