PlayOnline and Related Services Maintenance (Jan. 10)

At the following time, we will be performing maintenance of PlayOnline network equipment, as well as server maintenance in order to accompany a version update for FINAL FANTASY XI.

During this maintenance, the following services will be unavailable.
- PlayOnline
- Friend List Plus
- The following actions in relation to Square Enix Account Management System's PlayOnline and FINAL FANTASY XI
- Migrating from PlayOnline Account to Square Enix Account
- Creation/cancellation of membership, new registration to PlayOnline
- Creation/cancellation/restoration of service accounts
- Registering campaign codes
- Transfer from free trial account
- The following actions/services in relation to Optional Services
- Creating new subscription to Optional Services
- Changing payment methods
- Cancelling/restarting automatic payments
- Changing a PlayOnline password
- Character World Transfer Service
- Purchase of expansion content
- Confirming campaign code registration history

* The FINAL FANTASY XI World Transfer Service will be unavailable starting 30 minutes before the maintenance.


From 2:30 to 8:00 (GMT)
During this period, FINAL FANTASY XI will be unavailable.

* This maintenance will be accompanied by a client program version update. After maintenance is complete, the update will automatically begin after you press the “Play” button. After that, please follow the instructions on the screen.

* After the maintenance ends, a spike in access is expected.
If you encounter congestion errors such as “POL-1160” and “POL-0010” during the confirmation screen or while downloading, we apologize for the inconvenience, and we ask that you try again after waiting for some time.
