FINAL FANTASY XIV: Shadowbringers Pre-orders and Early Access

If you have a question or problem related to FINAL FANTASY XIV: Shadowbringers pre-orders or Early Access, please check the following information.


FAQ



If you did not yet receive / have lost your pre-order code, please contact the retailer/shop you bought the game from. If you have pre-ordered from the SE Store, your code will be sent in a separate email within an hour of purchase.

If you have ordered from the EU Square Enix Store and have not received your code, please contact the Store Support.

In order to redeem your pre-order code, please visit this website and follow the instructions. The pre-order code will expire on 31 December 2019 at 23:59  (GMT). Please be sure to redeem your code before this date.



In this case, please contact us directly using the button on the bottom of this page.



You will receive an e-mail with the early access code after redemption of the pre-order code. If you did not receive this e-mail for some reason, you can view the code by going back to the code redemption website, login in with the Square Enix account you redeemed the pre-order code, then click on "Reward List" to see your rewards. Click each entry to view your codes and further details.



Once you purchase Shadowbringers on Steam, you will be provided with an Early Access code (20 digits, starting with RF4A) that needs to be registered on the Mog Station.
To find this code, follow these steps:
     - Log into the Steam Client
     - Navigate to your "LIBRARY" and select "FINAL FANTASY XIV" from the left column
     - Under the "LINK" section, on the right side of the screen, select "CD Key". Your code should display.
You can find further information about redeeming your Steam code on the Mog Station in this article.

Please note that you will also receive the full code for the Expansion already (20 digits, starting with RE4A).  However, this code cannot be entered in the Mog Station yet. Please wait for the release of Shadowbringers to register that code.



The PlayStation®4 Early Access code that you received via the Redeem website needs to be registered on PSN as follows:
     - Launch the PlayStation Store on your PS4
     - Select "Redeem code"
     - Enter the 12-digit code
     - Launch the game and log in
     - You will be prompted to add the license to your service account



Although the Shadowbringers expansion contains both Heavensward and Stormblood, you will only be able to access the content of these first two expansions on 2 July, 2019, when Shadowbringers launches.



Early Access will start on June 28th, 2019 at 09:00 GMT and last until July 2nd, 2019 (date and time may be subject to change).



The registration code included in the Windows version now on sale is not compatible with the Steam version of FINAL FANTASY XIV: Online. If you own the Steam version of the game, you will need to purchase the expansion on Steam as well.

In order to enjoy all aspects of Shadowbringers, you will need to have completed the FINAL FANTASY XIV: Stormblood main scenario quest “A Requiem for Heroes”.
