I want to deactivate/cancel my account
Service Account
To cancel a Service Account for FINAL FANTASY XI, log into the Square Enix Account Management System and select "PlayOnline/FINAL FANTASY XI" from the "Services and Options" menu at the top. Follow the on-screen instructions to deactivate your Service Account.
To cancel a Service Account for FINAL FANTASY XIV, log into the Mog Station and select "Cancel Service Account" from the "Your Account" tab at the top. Follow the on-screen instructions to deactivate your Service Account.
Service accounts with an active subscription will remain available until the current subscription period is over. Please see the following article if you want to reactivate your service account(s):
How to reactivate a Service Account
Square Enix Account
When a Square Enix account is cancelled, any services registered to the account will become unavailable. Please use the "Contact" button above if you wish to reactivate your Square Enix Account.
If you still wish to cancel your Square Enix account, please login to the Square Enix Account Management System and follow the instructions below:
1. Select "Update Account Information" under "Account Information" in the "Account" menu
2. Select "Cancel Square Enix Account"
3. Tick "I accept." and click "Next"
To cancel a Service Account for FINAL FANTASY XI, log into the Square Enix Account Management System and select "PlayOnline/FINAL FANTASY XI" from the "Services and Options" menu at the top. Follow the on-screen instructions to deactivate your Service Account.
